The EPIC™ Specialist Ballistic Helmet is purpose-built for tactical operations, delivering advanced ballistic protection, modular capability, and long-duration comfort for SWAT and riot team members. Constructed in an ACH-style profile from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the Specialist provides reliable protection while remaining substantially lighter than traditional ACH helmets.
Utilizing Ceradyne’s patented Seamless Shell Technology, the helmet features no thru-holes, ensuring uniform ballistic performance and structural integrity across the entire shell. Fit and stability are handled by Team Wendy’s boltless CAM-FIT™ retention system with BOA® dial, allowing operators to quickly dial in a secure, custom fit under dynamic conditions.
Inside, the Team Wendy EPIC Air Fit® Liner System with Zorbium® Foam Technology delivers exceptional comfort and blunt impact protection. Developed through extensive traumatic brain injury research, the liner meets ACH Gen II blunt impact standards, making it suitable for extended tactical deployments.
Fully outfitted for modern mission requirements, the EPIC™ Specialist includes a durable aluminum NVG shroud, Velcro® panels for identification and accessories, and low-profile reverse dovetail accessory rails compatible with a wide range of universal helmet-mounted equipment. A shock cord kit is included to enhance night vision device stability during movement.
Available in Full-Cut, Mid-Cut, and High-Cut shell configurations, the EPIC™ Specialist adapts to evolving tactical demands without compromising protection or comfort.
