The Avon Protection FM54 Fire Hardened Air Purifying Respirator delivers maximum protection and unmatched operational flexibility for specialist operators working in high-threat environments. Engineered to protect the face, eyes, and respiratory tract, the FM54 safeguards against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats, as well as Riot Control Agents (RCAs), Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs).

Designed to adapt as mission profiles evolve, the FM54 supports both negative and positive pressure operation, allowing seamless transition between APR, SCBA, CCBA, and PAPR configurations. An enhanced Variable Resistance Exhalation Unit (VREU) features a robust external lever that enables rapid switching between pressure modes without removing the mask, compromising protection, or detaching optional accessories such as the Voice Projection Unit (VPU).
